Dear Readers, This is the closest I’ll ever get to accepting an Academy
Award, so I’d better make the best of it. J So much has happened since I was initiated as a Jix Author on October
3, 2004. The Cameo has new universes, new stories, and a new home, and none
of this would be possible without the help of my friends. They really rock,
don’t they? First of all, thank you to my wonderful husband, Damon, who insists
that I’m the best writer and graphics designer in the world. He’s blinded by
love, but I’m happy to have him as my biggest fan. Thank you also to my
children who provide limitless inspiration. A huge thanks going out to Cathy P, who has never failed to
provide love and support. She is the original founder of Jix, and without her
efforts we wouldn’t have Jixemitri. It’s an honor and a privilege to be an
owner, administrator, author, and most of all, member of that wonderful site. Thanks going out to my fellow owners who allowed me to have
space at Jix. You ladies are da bomb! I love each and every one of you. I also want to extend a thank you to my fellow administrators
and moderators who work tirelessly behind-the-scenes to make Jix the
wonderful place that it is today. Thank you to my faithful editors who have stuck by me through
thick and thin. I’ve had many through the years, and will likely have a few
more, but I want to especially thank Kaye KL, Steph H, and KathyW (Kathy
hasn’t been around for some time, but I miss her terribly). I must also thank my loyal readers who never seem to tire of my
silly stories. There have many people who’ve been such an encouragement
through the years. I greatly appreciate those who take time out of their busy
lives to tell me they’ve enjoyed my stories, whether they let me know by
posting at Jix or emailing me. Many stories have been written because of a
gentle nudge from a reader. Never underestimate the power of a kind word; it’s
a good kick in the pants when my muses go on strike. And finally, thank you to Julie Campbell, for without her,
there would be no Cameo, no Jix, or no fanfic, and what a sad world it would
be if those things didn’t exist. Hugs, |
